Keith played some April Fools jokes on the kids and he was laughing so hard that Hallee yelled out, "you broke dad!"
He put plastic wrap on Hallee and Wyatt's door so they would walk into it in the morning. Hallee saw it so she avoided it, but Wyatt was pretty sleepy when he came out so he walked right into it.
He switched all the cereal bags so when they poured their cereal they got something different.
He switched the clocks and told Caitlyn and Jonah they were late for school. It was so fun to see him enjoy himself so much. He was laughing so hard!
He froze the milk so it wouldn't come out in their cereal.
Wyatt immediately decided that he wanted in on the fun. He threw water on Keith when he got home from taking Caitlyn to school. Wyatt or Hallee put a rubber band on the sprayer in the kitchen sink so Keith and Caitlyn both got sprayed.
Amarie had Spring Break last week so her and Mel came down on Tuesday. We dropped the girls off at Lowes for a couple of hours. It was so good for both of them to be able to spend time together.
Hank Smith offers a Teen Academy. I asked Caitlyn if she would want to do it and she said yes. Tuesday night was the first session. She did it in the front room so I got to listen in. He is such a great teacher and so good with teenagers! Caitlyn loved it. The older kids got to stay on the zoom call after to talk to each other and he was asking their ages so Caitlyn told him that she was turning 16 the next day. He brought her on and told her Happy Birthday.
Jonah had his last Bantam game on Wednesday. I've been pretty emotional about this ending. It has been a great five years. He has grown up so much, worked so hard and made some great friends.
He looks so grown up!
It was a great end. They scored 73 points, a new high for the team! The team all played great. Jason got emotional when we were thanking him after the game. He has devoted a lot of time to these boys over the last four years while he has been their coach.
I organized a thank you gift for Jason. I got this frame and all of the boys signed it and then we got him gift cards. Jonah was frustrated because he sat out a lot at his last two games. He's not sure why and he was frustrated with Jason, but I was so proud of him for playing through it and giving it his all while he was on the court. I was proud of him for high fiving Jason when he would pull him out even though I know he was so frustrated. I was sad that the season ended on that low note for Jonah, but Jason really has been a great coach over the years. I love to see Jonah grow as an athlete and a person while playing sports.
Tiff and the kids usually come over during soccer practice on Thursdays. Hallee and Tessa love to play dress up. I love their mean witch faces!
On Friday Jonah and his friends wanted to take Grace a treat because she was sad about losing the school election. I thought it was so sweet that they wanted to do that. I took them to Krispy Kreme to get her some donuts. Jen texted later to tell me how much that meant to Grace. Hallee and Wyatt came along and got free donuts for their report cards.
It has been in the 70's the past few days. On Friday I took Hallee and Wyatt to a new park in Vineyard to enjoy the nice day.
Wyatt pretended to sleep while he was on the swing.
Amarie and Ataiya stayed over Friday night. They had a great time. Caitlyn can't drive friends for six months so Ataiya drove her car around. It was so nice that I didn't have to take them anywhere and they could just come and go. They went to Caitlyn's tennis match on Saturday and then stayed here until that evening. We loved having them here. On Thursday Katie and the kids came down and Caitlyn and Kiara went to Lowes. She sure had a great week!

Another great blog! I loved Jonah's face when he realized he didn't get the cereal he thought he was going to get. What a fun dad Keith is and he came up with some great tricks! I'm sorry Jonah's last two games weren't what he wanted them to be but so glad he could high five his coach still. That's great they got their highest score ever on their last game!
Great post! Keith’s jokes were awesome, and how sweet of Jonah and his friends to take Grace donuts!!
