Sunday Drive

We had a great weekend watching General Conference. It was the first time in a long time that we didn't have anything else going on.  Well Caitlyn worked and Jonah had homecoming, but Keith and I didn't have to miss watching any sessions.
I'm so glad, I hate busy conference weekends. I like to relax and be able to watch all of it. The talks were great and I'm excited to study them.
The kids watched with us on Sunday and then we had an early dinner.  I wanted to go see the Fall colors in Provo Canyon after dinner.  I had decided I wasn't going to make the older kids go, so I was thrilled when they said they wanted to go.  Wyatt didn't want to go, but I did make him come.
I don't think we have hit the peak of the Fall colors yet because it was hot for so much of September.
We got out and walked around South Fork for a while.  The temperature was perfect!
I loved watching my kids have fun together.
We need a new picture of Hallee for the wall so we snapped a couple of her.
I thought for sure Wyatt would end up falling in the water, but he surprised me and stayed dry.
It was a great way to spend a Sunday evening!

Great blog as always. I'm glad you were able to watch all the sessions of conference cause they were so good! I'm glad your older kids wanted to go with you when you went for a drive and that your family had a great time together! That's always wonderful! There isn't a lot of color yet and I'm sure you're right that the hot temps probably caused that.
