A couple of weeks ago we went to my parents to celebrate birthdays. It was fun to see all of their new furniture.
We celebrated these four birthdays. Jonah is in good company with these three!
I still can't believe Jonah is going to be 16-years-old!
Jonah loved his new sweatshirt from grandma and grandpa.
I sure appreciate Paul. He is always so good about talking to Jonah and knowing what he is interested in. He even makes Jonah laugh and we all know that making teenagers laugh is not easy!
Jonah is counting down the days until his birthday so he can get his license!
Caitlyn is such a great big sister. She took Hallee out last Friday. She took her to Target and let her pick out a toy.
And then they went to Dairy Queen. Hallee loved spending that time with Caitlyn.
Caitlyn also bought a murder mystery game. She loves those games and was excited for us all to do it together. It took us a while, but we figured it out.
We bought a new van. Our van was riding rough so we took it to the shop and they said there was nothing they could do and the transmission would probably go out at some point. We decided to sell it to a dealership. Keith and I debated on what to say to them and how much information to give and we were shocked when they didn't ask us anything or even drive the van and just gave us money for it, a good price too. It was a great time to sell, but not a great time to buy. We had decided to just stick with the two cars we had, but keep our eye out. Then this van popped up and we went right to the dealership and we were the first ones to drive it and we bought it! It was by far the best deal we had seen. It's an older car, 2009, but it had 4,000 less miles than our van. They had done all of the maintenance at the dealership so we knew it had been taken care of.
The kids were excited that it has a dvd player in it. We drove it around and Jonah and Hallee watched a movie.
Hallee was pretty excited about the sunroof too. Hopefully this van will last us for a long time because we are tired of car problems and car payments!
We called Wyatt out for scripture reading and this is how he came out. He made the mask in school.
Hallee and Wyatt both got chosen to be Play Works coaches. They were both really excited. They had their first meetings this week and got their shirts and lanyards. They each have one shift a week where they help during recess. They play games with the kids and try to get everyone involved. I think it's great that they have these leadership opportunities.
Jonah has been having fun playing flag football with his friends. He's playing great and having fun.
Hallee was really excited for Hocus Pocus 2 to come out yesterday. The boys were all busy so us girls got some treats and dinner and watched the movie together. It was fun to spend time with my girls.
Hallee wanted to sell her rainbow loom bracelets today. Unfortunately, our street isn't the best place to do it. Her only customers were her siblings. She was a good sport about it though and I think she appreciated her siblings supporting her.

Another great blog! Loved the picture of us with Jonah and all the birthday people we celebrated! That's really cool that Wyatt and Hallee were chosen to b play works coaches and the responsibilities they have sound great. The picture of Wyatt coming out for prayer was so funny and cute! I'm glad you and Caitlyn and Hallee got to watch the movie you wanted to watch
I'm sorry that Hallee didn't sell any of her bracelets except to her sibling but bless them for buying them!
That Play Works program sounds cool. I'm sure Hallee and Wyatt will be awesome at it. How sweet that Cait took Hallee out! That's adorable.
