Kindergaten Graduation

Today was Jonah's program for Kindergarten graduation.  They had the kids pick what outfit they wanted to wear that described them and then the parents wrote a description that the teacher read while the kids put on a little fashion show.  Jonah wanted to wear his soccer uniform.  We talked about how much he loves to play sports.
It took a while to get through all three classes.
After that they sang a few songs.  Jonah was a little distracted, but I know he knows the songs.
He did a great job.  They signed the pledge of allegiance.  I love that their school starts each morning singing the national anthem and then saying the pledge of allegiance.
After the program we went to his class room for a slide show and treats.
Hallee slept through the program.  Thank goodness, that girl needs her naps.  Grandma was excited to hold her when she woke up.
Keith had to get back to work so he couldn't stay for the whole thing. We are both so proud of Jonah.  He has done so well in school this year.
Jonah was happy to take Wyatt over to sit on the rug with him while Miss Jen talked to them.  Wyatt loves being with the big kids.
We LOVE Jonah's teacher.  She has been amazing.  I would have never guessed it was her first year teaching.  Jonah loves her.  I am so grateful for good teachers!
We decided to head to McDonald's and celebrate with a happy meal.  I can't believe how quickly the school years pass.  We are all ready for summer vacation!

Jonah lost a tooth!

Jonah has been waiting to lose a tooth.  On Sunday night he was so excited that his tooth felt really loose.  On Monday morning he was sure if he ate breakfast that his tooth would fall out.  Sure enough it fell out after a few bites.  He didn't like the blood, but he was glad the tooth was out.
Jonah was not happy last night when we realized that we threw his tooth away by accident.  We wrote the tooth fairy a note, but he wasn't convinced she would still come.  This morning I had a very upset little boy in my room telling me that he didn't get any money.  He said the note was gone, but there was no money.  I sent him back downstairs to look and he found the money on the floor.  I guess it fell off his bed.
Hallee has started giving high fives.  She gets so excited when she does it and has a huge smile on her face.
She also started clapping.  She usually does it in her high chair and then all the other kids clap and every one is all smiles!
Wyatt loved his sun hat that he got in nursery on Sunday.  He cried when we dropped him off, but he had a great time.  He is so funny, sometimes he cries and sometimes he runs right in.  Sunday night we went to Kelly's house to celebrate Keith's mom's birthday.  I forgot the camera so no pictures.  Wyatt was thrilled when Kelly gave all the kids some bubbles.  Wyatt is obsessed with bubbles.  He spent the rest of the night outside blowing bubbles.
Monday evening we went to my mom's house for a barbecue.  All the boys had a big Nerf gun fight.  I love Rockwell and Wyatt tagging up on Elijah.
Here is Wyatt telling me he is going to shoot me, right before he got me in the leg! I'm getting really excited for summer.

Kindergarten Carnival

Friday was Jonah's Kindergarten carnival.  Keith took the day off and we both went to help out.  There were so many parents there helping that we just got to walk around and watch the kids.  Jonah was so excited.
Jonah loves any chance to show off his muscles!  He had fun knocking down all the boxes.
Each class got to take a turn in the bounce houses.
Jonah had a blast.
This is the prefect toy for Jonah.  Big, bouncy and soft so he won't get hurt!
Jonah had fun playing with all of the kids.
We took Wyatt and Hallee with us.  Hallee went to sleep and Wyatt had fun playing the games.  He loved this bean bag toss one.
He also loved this water one.  Jonah wouldn't play it, but Wyatt had a ball.
He loved dumping the water in the buckets.
Jonah had to wait in line for a while, but he loved having his face painted.  Jonah only has two days left of school before Kindergarten testing.  I can't believe how fast this school year has flown by.  He has learned and matured so much.  He is excited for summer vacation and I am worried about entertaining him. Next year he will start a French immersion program.  I think it will be really good for him.
After the carnival I took the boys and Hallee home and Keith stayed to help in Caitlyn's class.  Caitlyn was excited to have him eat lunch with her and her friends.  The boys and I played for a minute and then headed back to the school for Caitlyn's open house.  She had to do a report on an animal and then we got to go see every one's finished products.  She did great and could tell you all sorts of facts on Cheetah's.  I love to see my kids work hard on something and be proud of their work.

And some more cute ones

I can't stop taking pictures of this cute girl.
It has been so hard to get her to smile lately, so when she is in a smiley mood, I have to take pictures.
She loves to bite her lips.
Hallee is pulling herself up on everything now and furniture walking.  She loves to be standing up.
She loves to have stick her tongue out.
She looked so cute for church yesterday.  She spent most of church yelling and throwing things.  Wow, this girl is getting feisty.
After she throws a fit she likes to flash me a smile.  She knows how to play the game.
Her hair is getting so thick.
She is still a big fan of bath time.  You can see her one little tooth there on the bottom.

Beautiful

I know I say this all the time, but seriously this girl is so beautiful!
She was just sitting there playing on the floor today and I kept thinking how cute she is so of course I had to take twenty pictures.
She always has her tongue out.
Love those big eyes!  She loves to play on the floor, but she wants us to sit next to her.  She will crawl away and play for a minute and then crawl back and grab us for a minute and then go off and play again.

Bike Trailer

We love to ride bikes so we have been looking for a bike trailer.  We found one the other day and we were so excited to try it out.  I had this picture in my head of our happy family riding bikes together.  It didn't quite go like that.
Wyatt and Hallee hated it.  They were screaming and Wyatt was hysterical when we put the cover on and Caitlyn and Jonah were trying to help, but really it was just making things worse.  Keith and I were yelling over everyone just to be heard.  I'm sure our neighbors were wondering what was going on.
We finally just went with the kids screaming hoping they would stop.  We rode over to the school so the kids could play on the play ground.  Wyatt and Hallee calmed down a little bit, but they still weren't very happy.
I tried taking Hallee for a ride by herself and that went a little better.
The seatbelts are a little awkward with her being so young. She did warm up to it a little.
Keith and I took turns taking the kids for rides.  They loved it.
Even Wyatt asked to go for a ride and liked it.  Now we just need to get Hallee to like it.

Poor Wy Guy

Poor Wyatt was sick this weekend.  Friday afternoon he woke up really cranky from his nap, which isn't unusual so I didn't think much of it.  Finally after an hour or so of him screaming about everything I realized he was burning up.  He was miserable and screaming while I took his temperature.  I gave him some Ibuprofen and he was a different kid thirty minutes later.  He was happy and sat down and ate dinner.  That night he was back up at 11 PM burning up again.
Saturday it was the same thing.  He was fine until the medicine wore off.  When I got him up from his nap he was drenched in sweat.  That night his fever spiked again, but we couldn't get it down.  His cheeks and eyes were so red.  We finally tried a Slurpee and a cool bath.  That finally broke the fever so we could get him down for bed.
I think he liked being sick.  He got to eat a Slurpee while watching TV at 11 PM and sleep in mom and dad's room.  Luckily, he is feeling much better.  No one else got sick and we have no idea what it was.  That seems to happen to the kids once or twice a year, they get a fever and no other symptoms for a few days.
