Wyatt has grown up so much in the last few months. He keeps looking older and the things he says and does are so funny. He always says, "Caitlyn now! I'm on the toilet, oh sorry." That happened a few months ago and he quotes it at least a few times a day.
I love his smile. He is the sweetest little boy. The other day he said, "I love you mom." His sweet little voice melts my heart. He does have a mean streak too. I have to get after him when he says, "I'm going to kill you." That sounds horrible coming out of a two-year-old mouth! It took me almost an hour to get him to clean up his toys the other day. He gets so stubborn about things. Stubborn or not, he is such a fun kid.
Caitlyn seems older all the time. She is doing so much better with her anxiety. I love to see her more carefree.
She is such a pretty girl. Caitlyn has become very social again. She didn't want to play outside for a while, but lately she wants to be outside playing with the neighborhood kids every day. She still loves to get together with her friends and cousins. She has made her room into a class room. She loves to play school and she has different centers set up and gave Keith and I homework. She wants to do a pre-school for Wyatt this summer.
Jonah is still our helper. He loves to help out, but he wants them to be big jobs. He isn't interested in the little jobs. He was a big help when we were planting flowers the other day. Jonah loves to be busy. He always asks what we are doing after school. He loves when we meet friends at the park or just play outside. Jonah is having a hard time sleeping lately. He wakes up at night and gets really scared. He just comes upstairs and sleeps on the couch when he gets scared, but then Keith wakes him up in the morning when he gets up for work and Jonah cries and begs him not to go to work. We are trying to make him stay in his room again. I will probably cave and let him go back to the couch because I hate being woke up at night. I don't know how he survives with so little sleep. The other morning he woke me up at 3:30 AM and I don't know if he ever went back to sleep. He was dressed at 6:00 AM when he went into Caitlyn's room. I asked him what he did after that and he said, "I just sat on the couch and read the Book of Mormon." Every time I am so frustrated with him he says something like that and makes me laugh.
I will write more about Hallee in the next post. She is moving all over the place. It was so funny to watch her touch the grass the other night. She hated the feel of it, but she couldn't resist and kept touching it. The other day we were at the park and I was yelling Jonah's name, which may happen a lot around here, and Hallee repeated me. Katie heard it first and then we all heard it, she said, "Jonah." She imitated the sound perfectly. She has done it a few times since then.
Keith checked on Wyatt the other night and said he had to take a picture. You know it is cute if Keith thinks of taking a picture!
The next night I checked on Wyatt and found this. My kids all love to read in bed, sometimes he can't make it through the book though!
