Today was Keith's graduation day. We were excited to go celebrate this accomplishment with him.
I am so proud of Keith. I know I have said this before, but he has done an amazing job over the years of balancing every thing. He graduated with honors with his associates degree and barely missed it for his bachelors. He worked so hard in school and did amazing. During this time he has been the sole provider for our family and done a wonderful job as a provider. He has been promoted multiple times at work and has really made a name for himself within the company. The most amazing thing is that he has kept me and the kids as his number one priority through it all. We all had to sacrifice some to make this happen, but he made every sacrifice possible to make sure that our family was impacted as little as possible.
I had two major fears when Keith started school. One was finances and the other one was our family time. We were very protective with our family time over the years to make sure it remained a priority and we graduated with no debt!!
It was great to have our moms there. Both of our dads had to work.
Keith is the first one in his family to graduate from college. I know they are all very proud of him.
We brought all of our electronic devices to keep the kids quiet during the ceremony. I wouldn't say we were quiet, but the kids did a good job for such a long day!
I was so grateful to have my mom and Pat there.
I definitely needed the help.
Jonah spotted Keith and I didn't believe him because before that he told me he saw him about ten different times. Jonah loved rubbing it in that he was right.
Here he is getting ready to walk across the stage.
I love the zoom on my camera, we were so far away, but I could see it all through my camera lens!
After they called his name I took the kids out into the hall. Wyatt and Hallee had reached their limit. I'm glad he decided to go to graduation. Since he finished in December the excitement had kind of worn off, but I talked him into going and we are both glad he did. This is a huge accomplishment and we needed to celebrate it one last time.
After graduation we went out to eat, my favorite way to celebrate anything. By the time we got home it was 4:00 PM. We left at 9:30 AM, it was a long day, but a great day!
The kids and I made Keith some cards and got him a few presents.
They all had fun helping him open them.
I thought after all that Keith definitely needed a University of Utah hat! Congratulations Keith. We are all so proud of you!
