Class of 2025

Last night a few schools in the district sang at Kearns High School.  It is a song that Jonah's assistant principal wrote about graduating from high school and going onto college.
All the kids wore their class of 2025 shirts.  It was really neat.  I love that they are pushing graduation and college so much.  I grew up with that as an expectation.  I knew you went to college after high school, I never thought of doing anything else.  We want our kids to think the same way. They just sang one song and then we left, but Jonah was really excited about it and enjoyed doing it.  He did a great job.
Wyatt continues to make me laugh all the time.  Today I told him it was almost time for a nap and he said, "That doesn't sound like a good idea mom."  He loves to listen to the radio in the car.  He will tell me to change the station until he hears a song he likes and then he tells me to turn it up.  I can't believe how fast he learns the words to the songs.  He always asks, "is this a boy or a girl singing?" Yesterday he told Mel that he loved the trouble song (by Taylor Swift).  Last night there was a guy walking right behind us and Wyatt yells out, "what is that guy mom, a mustache guy?" He misses his binky.  When I put him to bed he says, "I not a big boy mom."  He is adjusting a little more every day so hopefully we are through the worst of it.  Sometimes Wyatt will be so upset and will be throwing a fit and will all of the sudden stop and say, "I'm happy now."
Hallee's two bottom teeth have finally cut through.  My kids take forever to teeth!  She seems a lot happier now that they have cut through.
I thought this picture was so funny.  I think we put her to bed with wet hair so it was all over the place.  As soon as I wrap her in her blanket she pops her thumb in her mouth.  It is so cute.  It won't be so cute when she is older and we are trying to get her to stop, but for now it is cute!
