Brave!

We have been looking forward to Caitlyn's play for a while now.  The play was based on the movie, "Brave."  There are so many kids that they have to add a lot of other parts, so it didn't stick to the movie.  Caitlyn accidentally wrote down a boys part when she chose her part, so in the first scene she was a knight.  She looked so cute!

She did such a great job.  She was really nervous about the play a few months ago, but she hasn't been too nervous about it lately.  She said all her parts perfectly and did a great job with all the songs. I was so proud of her!

They had so many cute songs and dances.  Caitlyn loves singing and dancing so it was perfect for her.

In the next scene Caitlyn was a witch.  She sure made a cute witch.

She was excited with her academy award after the play!

One of her favorite things has been taking Up With Kids with her cousins.  Amarie and Ataiya did a great job too.

We had so many friends and family come out and watch Caitlyn's play.  It was so nice and made Caitlyn feel so loved.  I'm a little embarrassed about getting in a fight with a guy over saving seats.  We got there an hour early to save seats because we had so many people coming.  This man decided we couldn't save seats and just sat down and wouldn't get up.  I argued with him and might have even sat next to him and said I wouldn't move either.  In the end him and his wife were just trying to be difficult and I had to let it go.  I hate it when people just want to be rude! 

Dr. Prasad, Caitlyn's school psychologist came to the play.  He is so nice and brought her flowers.  He is such a nice guy and Caitlyn adores him. 

It was so fun to watch Caitlyn.  I am so proud of her and I loved to see her enjoy it so much.
