I have heard a lot of good things about the Museum of Curiosity up at Thanksgiving Point. Yesterday was $2 Tuesday so we decided to check it out after Keith got home from work. I have been struggling a bit and really needed to push myself to get out of the house so we decided we would go for it even though we knew it would be crowded.
Crowds aren't the best thing when you are already feeling anxious, but it wasn't horrible. The museum was really big and the kids had fun running from thing to thing.
Jonah thought the floating head was pretty cool.
Wyatt jumped up and down and laughed when he started the washing machine. I love how excited he gets about everything.
I went on the rope bridges with Caitlyn and Jonah. It was fun and Jonah was thrilled that I came with them. He loves when I get in on active things with him.
Caitlyn and Jonah had fun on the ropes and the jungle gym. Wyatt and Hallee didn't come in, but I don't think they would have liked it. It was a little too big for them. I was surprised at how many things were geared toward older kids.
I think walking on the ropes was the highlight of the museum for me and Jonah.
Caitlyn liked it, but as you can see she was a little nervous. I'm glad she did it anyway.
Keith played with the little two while we were on the ropes. They had fun in this little maze.
The museum was cool and I'm glad we went, but I wasn't blown away like I thought I would be. Most of the exhibits are neat, but you would only look at them or use them for a minute or two and then you move onto something else. The kids had fun, but I'm really glad we didn't pay full price!
I love Hallee's faces that she pulls. Silly girl! I'm glad we got out and had fun together.
