Formal Night

There were two formal nights on the cruise and we decided at the last minute to do the one on Sunday night.  After we finished up in the board room we all rushed up to our rooms to get ready.

Surprisingly, we were pretty quick and had time to take a couple of family shots while we waited for everyone else.

These three boys were usually going around the boat together. 

I sure love Julie. I'm glad I didn't have to lock her in the food storage room to make sure she waited for Gary.

My mom wanted a formal picture of us.  We had to do it on the stairs because our group was so big.  

I think the picture turned out great!  

After the picture we went to the dining room for dinner.

It was funny to watch Wyatt and Rockwell eat spaghetti in their nice clothes.

These boys sure looked sharp for dinner.

Every dinner was so good.

We loved watching our waiters dance every night.  Most of the group would get up and join them.

After dinner we ran to our room to change.  Hallee was excited to see the animals made out of towels.

After that we all went to the family friendly comedy show.  We loved going to these every night.  I think the comedians got better every night.

After that we went over to the Karaoke bar.

Caitlyn and Elena sang "I want it that way" by Backstreet Boys.  I'm so impressed with anyone that will get up in front of people and sing.  They did a great job and had a lot of fun.  

I couldn't get a good picture of them on stage so I got one of them after.

After Karaoke I took Hallee and Wyatt to bed and Keith went with Matt to watch the movie by the pool.  The rest of the family went to the late show because Kyle was going to be in it.  Apparently it got a little risque. When Caitlyn and Jonah came into my room to tell me they were back Caitlyn yelled out, "We saw pornography and I lost my key card."  I was asleep so I wasn't sure what to make of that.  Luckily, it was a great lesson for the kids and they were able to learn it in a very mild setting. One of the guys on stage stripped down to spanks.  The adults had the kids leave.  I talked to Caitlyn and Jonah about how it made them feel and explained that is why we try to protect them online because there is a lot of bad stuff out there!  We tried to go to the earlier shows after that, but I think they were all fine, it was just a weird thing in that particular show.
