Friday was a little hard for me because I knew it was our last day. I did not want this vacation to end! I pulled out my camera and took lots of pictures on the last day.
Friday was chocolate extravaganza at the buffet!
I think Hallee enjoyed it!
We all ate lunch together that afternoon and then played games.
My kids did not want to leave this cousin heaven!
There were so many options for lunch. I had some really good barbecue one day and a great panini another day.
I just can't describe how happy it makes me to see the family having so much fun together. I love that even though we live in different states, we can all pick up right where we left off.
After lunch the kids went back to kids camp and Keith and I went to check out the store. My dad came up with us. I decided I needed a picture with dad, I don't have enough. I mean, I don't think I will make it in the den like Tiff or anything, but at least I'll have a picture, HA!
After that picture I told dad that I should pick him up for old time sake. I used to pick everyone up when I was young to show off how strong I was. I have a picture just like this from thirty years ago, I'll have to find that and do a side by side.
Sometimes it just feels good to pick up your dad for a picture!
Mom, Mel and Julie came up to the store so I had Keith take a picture of us.
After that we went to the afternoon show.
The guy in the blue shirt is our cruise director, Lee. I thought he was really funny and made things very entertaining. I can't imagine how exhausting that job would be.
They asked for volunteers to share talents and Caitlyn and Elena volunteered and got to go up. They both told a joke.
They laughed at Elena's and then turned to Caitlyn and she said she was going to tell a joke that she told to the waiter and he didn't get it. Lee said, "okay, you're going to tell a joke that hasn't made people laugh, but were going to try it anyway."
Caitlyn said, "what smells like blue paint, but it's red." They both said, "red paint" with a confused look on their face.
After that he turned to Elena and said, "thank you so much for joining us." It was really funny and got a big laugh.
That night Lindy joined us at our table for dinner. We love Lindy! I can't get over how wise, selfless, caring and mature she is at such a young age.
I just love Gary and Julie, I wish we saw them more often!
Cody has grown up so much. He looks and sound like a man. He has always been the sweetest kid and he still is. He is so kind and I just love him!
Most of the kids sat together the last night.
I was so sad about saying goodbye so I took a lot of pictures that day!
I sure love this guy. It was so great to have him with us instead of at work!
I'm really glad we ate in the dining room every night. It was a lot of fun and really good food.
I wanted a family picture with our waiters. We loved them! Luna was hilarious and always telling jokes and calling us by our names. He thought Paul's name was Dave, but other than that he did really well! Now we have a fun inside joke about Luna saying, "Do you like when we call you by your name, Mr. Dave." Keith and Paul had to try really hard to keep from laughing at that comment. MunMun was so sweet and so good with us and to the kids. I loved to watch Monelito every night during the dance. He loved to dance and sing. He had a really good voice.
Group shot with the waiters.
After we said goodbye to our waiters we all went over to the comedy show. This guy was my favorite, he was so funny!
This picture cracks me up. Wyatt and Rockwell thought they were so funny and so sneaky with their bunny ears and had no idea that Kyle was doing it to them!
The kids enjoyed the comedy shows. I don't think Hallee understood a lot, but she loved to dance to the music before and after the shows. Wyatt would run over and ask me questions to make sure he understood the jokes.
I told these boys to look cool. They don't come any cooler than these two!
Hallee and Tessa always want their picture taken! Cute girls!
After the show we all met upstairs so mom and dad could show us the formal picture and so we could say goodbye.
Mom got a little emotional. I think this trip was everything she hoped it would be and I'm so glad. There is no better way to spend time or money, making memories with the ones you love!
We all get a little uncomfortable if it gets too emotional so someone usually cracks a joke!
After that it was time to say our final goodbyes.
I love seeing the relationship grow with Ammon and Wyatt.
It was rough to say goodbye to everyone and see such a fun week, one we have been looking forward to for a long time, come to an end.
I woke up really early and couldn't go back to sleep on Saturday, so I decided to go up and enjoy breakfast alone while my family slept. I loved soaking in one more meal while I looked out over the ocean. It was the perfect end to a perfect week.
It was a little crazy getting off the boat on Saturday, lots of lines, but overall it wasn't too bad. I loved seeing Hallee just walking along with her suitcase like she was a seasoned traveler. It was so hard to come back to real life after such an amazing week. I'm so grateful for this trip, it really was the trip of a lifetime! We can't thank you enough mom and dad!
