Petting Zoo

Tiff heard about a petting zoo in Pleasant Grove so we went with them to check it out.
They had different areas with different animals.  Tiff and the kids are in the back with the rabbits in this picture. There was an Alpaca, a goat, a pig, a donkey and a sheep walking around in the main area.
The boys thought the pig was pretty cool.
Hallee loved holding the rabbits.
Wyatt wasn't so sure how to hold the rabbits at first.
He got the hang of it pretty quickly.
We all got startled by the sheep a few times, you would just turn around and it was standing right next to you.
The kids had fun brushing the Alpaca.
Hallee liked the guinea pig.
This chicken's afro made us laugh.
Wyatt wasn't so sure about the ferret. They didn't seem like they wanted to be held at first.
Wyatt and Tessa figured out how to hold them and they both spent a long time with the ferrets.
I think Wyatt felt a little trapped when he turned around and was surrounded by animals.
Hallee loved the Alpaca.
They had a reptile area.  Hallee was excited that they had tortoises.
It was funny to watch Wyatt with the animals, he was always nervous at first.
The boys loved the bearded dragon.
I love this picture Tiff took of Wyatt and the bearded dragon smiling for the picture!  Tiff and I were saying that taking our kids there showed how much we loved them!  They were all covered in fur and it was a bit overwhelming for us, but the kids loved it.

Great post Al! I loved all the pictures of your children with the animals and I could relate to Wyatt being a little nervous when he was surrounded by animals. It looks like it was a fun experience for your children!

We will always be able to point to this day if our kids ever try to say we don't love them. Ha! :) The picture of Wyatt feeling trapped was funny! And I love the picture of Hallee hugging the alpaca.
