Thanksgiving Beach Style

Lori did a great job with Thanksgiving dinner.  I helped some, but she did most of it.  We tried to keep it really simple. We brought all the sides and then we bought some chicken out there instead of having turkey.

The dinner was great! Lori brought a bunch of pies too, they were so good!

After dinner we played talking points with the kids.  You have to give a random presentation while someone else is picking the pictures you have to talk about.  It was so funny and the kids loved it.  Wyatt said it was his favorite game and he did awesome on his presentation, I didn't know he was such a great public speaker.

After all our food had settled we went down to the beach to play.

We got down there shortly before sunset.  

We sure have some good looking guys in our family.

Wyatt made some pretty cool drawings on the beach.

The beach is a great place for me to spend Thanksgiving because it is so easy for me to feel gratitude and peace at the ocean. 

I love that Hallee is always up for a photo shoot.

Hallee had fun playing in the ocean that night.

I took pictures of her for a while and then I handed off my phone to Keith so I could go play in the ocean with Hallee.

We had so much fun running from the waves.  

Hallee loved being spun around in the water.  I'm glad Keith snapped some pictures of us.

There were three shrimp boats in the water every night.  They looked really cool with the lights on them.

After the beach the adults and boys went up to the hot tub.

It was the perfect end to the perfect Thanksgiving!
